We had a nice little weekend around here. It started with a date with our 12 year-old, just the three of us. We took her out to dinner and then to redbox to get a movie. It was nice just focus on her. She talks so much, all the time, that sometimes I don't think I hear half of the things she says because I'm on overload from her words and the volume level of those words..ha! All I can say is..she is me! She makes us laugh everyday with her craziness and it was nice to hang out with her.  Saturday, Darren and I went for a run. I think I am going to take a break until my official training for the half marathon starts next week. My legs cramps are out of control and I want them to heal! Darren ran 13 miles yesterday..he ran my half marathon..crazy! We did squeeze in a late night movie Saturday night. We saw the Green Hornet. Loved it! By far the best part of the weekend was having a group of ladies spend some time praying over our family yesterday. I have so much I want to write/journal about our time together. We spent a few hours in worship and prayer, just 6-7 of us, seeking GOD! Powerful stuff happens when you cry of to Jesus, just sayin :) If you haven't listened to this song I posted Saturday, LISTEN! I have it blasting right now! COME AWAY, IT'S NEVER TOO LATE! (thankful for that: )

My power verse for this awesome Monday....getting my containers ready for Him to pour MORE into our lives!

"There's more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we're hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we're never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can't round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit" Romans 5:3-5 (the Message)
